While the aesthetic of the book is decent and the wording of the game is clear, I definitely regret buying this book. The anima's abilities are basically fiat and in combat scenarios you'll mainly just be rerolling your two attack dicepools over and over. This system doesn't handle anything similar to stand battles for example in an interesting way, and is mainly about just punching the enemy until their numbers are low.
Save your money and just slap fiat-powers onto any rpg system with a basic combat system and you basically already own this game or even have something mechanically better.
