I wish I had more to say about this, but I don't and now it's gone.

I like the Dreamwalker RPG very much, although I do not use the game mechanics presented there at all (but the very interesting ideas of Dreamwalker work as well in many other game systems). The strength here is not the system, but the possibilities opened by the Dreamwalker setting. You could even exclude the Taenia Spiritus threat and still have much fun with it. The main book concentrates on battling the Taenia Spiritus in the dreams of their unsuspecting victims. So the dreamsequences get the most "screen time" in the classic Project Dreamwalker character group (this is also true for those Dreamwalkers working in The Clinic, another free and interesting Dreamwalker supplement).

The Sword of Gaia is about fighting the Broodkings and their spawn which managed to seep into our real world. This gives the missons of a coven of Swords of Gaia more real danger and more tangible problems to solve.

This supplement is therefore recommended for Dreamwalker players who would like more "real" activities.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: This supplement keeps the same good quality standards as the other Dreamwalker publications, the rulebook and The Clinic. There is more depth given for new aspects of the Empyrean and it's entities, which supplements the main Dreamwalker book very well. The focus of the Sword of Gaia coven members is much more in the mundane world than in the dreamworlds. This might suits some players better, if they like a more "tangible" approach to dealing with the Taenia Spiritus and their Broodkings in the real world.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: No page numbers in the PDF file result in non-numbered print pages. This makes the print-out hard to use.

Some of the chapters could have contained more information. Especially the curious "central city" of the Empyrean and other strange locales come a bit too short in this supplement.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

Hi Frank, Thanks for the kind words. The reference to the city of Manaed was meant to be a teaser. Rest assured it will be detailed fully in our next supplement. This should be available within the next few months. Be sure to check out our DreamwalkerRPG Yahoo! group for Dreamwalker discussions and updates. http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/DreamwalkerRPG/ Until then, take care. Pete Peter C.
