Ran this with some youth who were learning about the game, tonnes of fun! Fantastic art, layout, and good story that I was able to build into my existing homebrew campaign. The final map I had to redraw with added components to make it a playable map in person, but would work great for theatre of the mind or online probably. Lots of actual choices and different endings possible. Wish more adventures were written like this, I'll be sure to pick up others in the future.

My players were very creative (I determined that they could float mayonaise on the water and light it on fire since it was oil-based? they had an alchemy jug from a previous adventure). That made a very amusing sewer-crawl, especially since one player had covered themselves in mayo to try and protect themselves from spores... The end fight was cinematic and led to future adventures tracking down the person responsible for turning the druid.

This is a really well written and fun little sewer dungeon crawl. I fused it together with another sewer adventure to make a larger dungeon full of twists and turns, with the included spore hijinx and the new creatures added bringing plenty to the table.

The final bossfight presents you with plenty of options as to how you might challenge or protect your family, and it's open-ended nature makes this a great way to potentially introduce a recurring villain.

Clean and smooth. Chris and Steven communicate just as well on paper as they do in podcast and blog form.

Loved it. It was easy to fit into my campaign with minimal changes. My players had a blast getting through the sewers and I'd absolutely run it again.

Thanks so much for your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed it! The sequel is Lief’s Revenge and the finale of the campaign will be released at the end of August.

Great one-shot with potential for more adventure! This is a well written adventure that is detailed enough to be its own setting but can be dropped into any campaign with ease. A few fleshed out NPCs to work with and cool custom monsters. I struggled a little with encounter 4. I couldn't quite get a feel for the room based on the map and description but that could just be me. I did my best and the room ran well all the same. I look forward to running part 2!

Not sure what can be improved. I loved it, my PCs loved it... the nearby swamps are infested with these spore creatures which is forcing a tentative alliance btw the lizardfolk and the villagers - whoever though we'd see the day!

Druid of the Sewers is an incredibly rewarding one shot that introduces exciting themes and choices for players to challenge themselves against. Their are plenty of options for DMs to modify the story to include in an on going campaign, but the story is strong enough to pick up and use right away. Additionally, the Authors have hinted they are working on a follow-up to this one shot. Finally the Authors have given the main antagonist thought provoking lair options that are a treat to see in a low level one shot. I highly recommend trying this out and I look forward to seeing this one-shot expanded with a follow-up mission in the future.

Overall the adventure has a neat concept but definatley needs some of the plot hooks to be improved to actually make the adventurers feel compelled to help this village rather than just continue on thier way. As having played the adventure win a one shot with the creators, I feel that the back story to the main boss of this adventure should have more of his story built up to help accent the reasoning for the visual estetic of his lair in this installment.

The variants of monsters in this advenure are quite nice and add an extra layer of danger that might catch many of the adventures off guard in thier first encounter with the spore carriers. However, I feel like there should be some spore carriers that don't need to walk on the ground or can crawl on the walls to avoid be decimated by spells like spike growth that I was able to do in my play through of it.

Final thoughts are that I am excited to see how this series of adventures progresses and improves over the next couple installments or revisions to the base adventure.

Fun concept and story, good imagery. Includes everything you need to run it easily, and two options for an ending, allowing for continuation of the story if desired. Played through it in about 4hrs.

Short, simple and quite generic battle-centric adventure. Out of 13 pages, seven are proper adventure content while cover takes on one, map and map symbols three and monster stat blocks two.

Premise is simple but can be easily expanded if desired. Content if quite heavily focused on combat, there is little or no investigation before descending on the sewers. NPC's are a scarcity (only one is fully fleshed out) as they are only meant to be quest giver and rumor providers. Monsters are custom made and have potential to be interesting and differ from regular Monster Manual stuff. Sewer is simplistic and straightforward. Maps provided make this suitable for Virtual Table Top use (maps are on scale and include a grid).

Publisher hints at follow-up adventure but you can easily write sequel yourself to expand this into multi-session affair. As itself, this adventure won't take too many hours to complete.

Thank you for your feedback! While I understand your criticism that there isn't much investigation and this is a battle-centric adventure, we were focusing on making this more of a dungeon dive in the sewers than a city wide investigation. For our first adventure, we wanted to create something pretty straightforward and easy for a DM, especially beginner DMs, to run. Our next adventure will take on a more investigative/murder-mystery genre and we hope you check that out as well!
