This really hit the sweet spot for me. I like the low HP and simpler concepts in OSR but miss the elegance and streamlined rules of 5e. This is the system for me. No more 5e PCs and Monsters with hundreds of HP and no more bland and unbalanced OSR PCs. This rules set takes the best of both worlds and leaves the worst aspects out. I had been home brewing a system like this for months and was happy to stumble across this and dscover it's already been done! Spells, monsters, and PCs have all been scaled back to more of an OSR feel without losing what makes them distinct. I think I done trying to get 5e to feel right for me, this is it.
