I greatly appreciated this module for Swords & Wizardry.
At the beginning it might give the players the impression that it will be linear since the characters basically have to accept "a mission"
but actually it is closer to a location based adventure since it drops the adventurers somewhere in the Arctic with multiple possible destinations.
The module is also a good informative document for Referee who would want details about polar expeditions, their risks, the equipment needed and the day to day operations of such trips.
Also, beginning Referees might like the fact that there are some small read-aloud text box for each of the map's points of interest. I know this is not necessarily liked by everyone but they can be easily hand waived and replaced with the Ref's description of the scene in his mind's eye.
Though I am not a big fan of Paul Jaquays' cover art (with what looks to me like a Roman soldier standing in shorts on the ice banks), the interior art and mapping (by James Keegan and Robert Altbauer respectively) is excellent and fit the mood of the adventure.
