This is a good intro to the Tiny Dungeon system. It's straightforward and yet throws a few curves at the adventuring party. The ending to the adventure felt a bit abrupt (but maybe that's my inexperience showing as this was my first ever RPG).

This edition takes an already good game, and added polish and smoothened the rough edges to make it a GREAT game.

If you have 2nd Edition, this is still a great edition to get as the additions and editing make it a wrothwhile buy. As an indication of how smoothly Modiphius and NWG managed the updating, I was able to transition my on-going 2nd Edition campign into the 3rd Edition without any difficulty.

If solo, RPG-lite sci0fi tabletop wargaming is your thing, you can't go wrong with this!

(Rating would be 4.5 as the game play aids provided are actually not as good as the fan-made ones done for 2nd Ed.)

I will have to agree about the PDF instructions. They bear no real world connection to the actual pages.

For example, some instructions say "page 10-11", but since the files are broken up into 2 parts, there are 2 PDF files with 16 and 26 pages respectively. Much better to use the C, CC, BB etc. but there are no instructions for the A building.

And it's a really good point about why print out the textures for the inner box where no one will see them? (Except for the roof).

It's going to be a pain to assemble, but OK for the price, I guess. Thankfully I only need to populate a 3x3 mat.
