Cards are of decent quality and the plastic case that comes with it is nice (I think I may have paid a dollar more, I can't remember, but its worth it). Originally I didn't recieve all the cards, but a couple months later I got another set that had a fresh deck with missing cards. Didn't even have to call, very nice and much appreciated fixing their mistake. The cards are very useful around the table to speed up play or signal "options" for characters.

If this doesn't work for me I will be astonished. I think this is the how-to guide for RPG player engagement. The writing style occasionally wanders the road from meandering stream of consciousness to inscrutable what's-that-now?, but by the end I assure you there was no other path, and the effort was worth it. It's basically a giant reveal of the magic of how to assemble a sensible, episodic, over-the-top, epic campaign that your players will remember (creativity not included).

This is great book. You can find there a lots heplful advaice, even if you are experienced GM. Ofcourse not everyone likes the advice given, but you should try it. I'm sure I will return to this book from time to time. This book hepled me to improve my GM skills. I sincerely recommend.

I've studied many books about creating a campaign recently and this was the most helpful of all. It takes you by the hand and it provides information and techniques to build your campaign plot step by step, piece by piece, keeping only the things that matter the most, making the chaos of a campaign idea into a structured manageable thing. Guy's channel on youtube is also a great source of useful stuff about GMs and his way of thinking is ideal in most cases. The book has two flaws though, bad artwork and bad design. I think that it should be revised and updated by a professional book designer, that knows how to organize content in easy-to-comprehend sections/chapters and add the right form on text (bolds, quotes, tables, headings/subheadings, sections/subsections etc). In it's current form, it's ok to read it once but very difficult to go back to or refer to something again in the future.

The book is amazing. I just finished it today. It took me a few pages to get used to reading this bc it is definitely in Guy's voice, but after awhile it is almost like talking directly with him which I enjoyed. I work with my GF who is a professional trainer that is leagues above any of the other local trainers, and I honestly don't feel that I'm being biased when I say that. It amazed me at some of the similarities between what she says when answering questions and how Guy answers questions. Clearly he is looking at things from several different angles and is then able to break them down into digestible sized pieces (an example is when he asks the question you are thinking about and answers with a "Yes, but no." and then goes on to explain the different shades of the scenario). The organization of the book will allow me to go back, look for some of the points he made bc they typically are in bold, then use those to create my own story. If I need to investigate something he said further it is right there. I'm honestly considering purchasing the hard copy book as well. 10/10 for me.
