An ancient, secret war rages across the galaxy, and Earth has become its latest battleground. Welcome to Mechamorphosis, where you don’t just pilot the giant morphing robot — you are the giant morphing robot!

The power-hungry Tyrant mechamorphs have followed their peaceful Exile and Animech cousins to Earth, hoping to enslave humankind and suck the planet’s resources dry. Only the valiant Exile rebels and the wise Animech warriors can stop them.

In this d20 mini-RPG, players take on the roles of giant morphing robots, intelligent living machines that can change forms to appear as vehicles, weapons, and even robotic animals. Spy on enemies with your miniaturizing massmorph ability, take on airborne foes in high-speed aerial combat, or send your companion mechamorphs — smaller ‘bots that merge with your form — off to do battle for you. Your can constantly adapt and upgrade your powers with form feats, but beware . . . so can your enemies!

HORIZON takes you to the ends of time and the far reaches of roleplaying to explore the ideas and worlds you’ve always wondered about . . . and best of all, it does it all in one book.

Each HORIZON book is a complete, self-contained d20 RPG. Use it for a month-long diversion; use it for occasional one-off adventures; or use it for an epic campaign that you’ll be talking about for years. HORIZON books feature new and concise rules for use in your regular game, as well as detailed and creative setting information into which your regular game may be easily imported.

HORIZON: The farthest reaches of roleplaying.

When my group decided they wanted to play a Transformers game I was concerned about how I would run such a game. I considered some other systems but felt they were too generic. I was directed to this system and paid the price to dive in. What I [...]

Not to bad of a game the way they have it layed out right now, but it does need some work to make it a lot better of a game and to fix some of the problems that are in it right now. The best way to put it for came from an earlier review by Chri [...]

While Mechamorphosis is a half-decent attempt at recreating the style and stories behind the various series of Transformers cartoons, the system truly suffers under the d20/OGL licence. Instead of recreating the larger-than-life style of Transformers, [...]

The best Transformers-like incarnation by far, it features gorgeous art, well thought and complete rules mechanisms for all imaginable character types, and is a fun read. Excellent added value product. The only regrets are: it requ [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
