If you were going to put a rating on this book, what would it be? PG, PG-13, R? I guess I'm asking how explicit does it get in it's descriptions of evil? As a comparison, I'd give the Book of Vile Darkness an R rating, while I think Planet Apocalypse is more of a PG-13.

I do love the book, but something caught my eye when looking at the archetypes. The Dark Templar doesn't have Oath Spells. Was this because of the channel divinity replacement and Auras having so many other powers as well? Or just an oversight? Otherwise I love this book and can't wait to use a lot of it!

Great stuff but just wondering if there's going to be an update as there are several errors in the book relating to proofreading. For example, the Oath of Undoing (and several other things) mention the spell 'chaos spear' but there is no actual spell called 'chaos spear' there is however a spell called 'chaotic spear'.

The Oath of Undoing 15th feature also doesn't make sense as Paladins do not gain 6th level spell slots. Would love a proof reading / clarification update to the PDF :)

I asked the same question to the Devs as I backed it on kickstarter, they said "Thank you for your feedback! We took them into consideration with the team. As the printed copies are already printed, any changes or errata will occur on the PDF versions."

So here's hoping :)

I can't say how much I love this book and Mindabar. Do you plane to release any other book related to the same concept? Maybe a "sequel", a setting or in short a source that does a more in depth (assuming it is possible since the quality of the books XD) analysis of the theme.

Love the book but have only one gripe.Why the hell are all the plot hooks for do gooders?It's a book about evil.Why isn't there any plot hook to play as the bad guys?My favorite adventure path of all time is way of the whicked.My god,just using the options in this book made me want to rerun it.No scenario or plot hook to play the bad guys is something that is lacking and a bad choice for me.Again it's just my opinion,I still enjoyed the book.But seriously aren't we fed up of playing the good heroes?I would give anything for a campaign or another adventure path with the same caliber of way of the whicked.

Hello eric,

Can you specify which plot hooks are you referring to? The book is built around many evil archetypes, feats, and other options for evil player characters. The NPCs have plot hooks that generally present them as the antagonist because they are mostly for the use of the Game Masters for having more options of evil-doers in their campaigns and adventures.

Additionally, as part of this book's Kickstarter campaign, we are also releasing Mindabar- The City of Malice soon. It is a relatively shorter book that is completely about a gargantuan evil city for all the freedom and opportunities a lack of morals bring. It contains many plot hooks and other scenario options for evil players.
