Tarianor's Transports

ADD TO WISHLIST >

The fabled Floating City of Tarianor is known all over Mennara as the greatest shipyard in the world. Join Captain Eddy Bloodkelp as she guides you through the fine vessels the city builds for both Lorimor and the Albesian Royal Navy.

This supplement provides 8 different commonly encountered ships on the waterways of Mennara, each with full color deck plans, an image of how the ship appears on the water, gun placements, and of course Genesys stats. In addition, a rare Airship is also detailed in a similar manner. (and Vehicle Sheets for each)

In addition, the various ship weapons available are also detailed, along with ship modifications and attachments.

Finally, life at sea is described, along with challenges, diversions (including the rules for Fortuna’s Favor (dice game) and Three Card Ante (card game), and some of the dangers of the high seas!

Developed by veteran GM and self-described Terrinoth researcher Chris Markham (as Gazrok Games), this is one of many supplements already released for the Realms of Terrinoth setting. Though this supplement is set in the world of Mennara, it can be converted for use in your own fantasy world. The Genesys Core Rulebook, Realms of Terrinothsetting, and either Genesys Dice or the Genesys Dice App are required to use this product.

Can I use it without the terrinoth book? We want to use it for a homebrew setting and we don't want to buy the whole Terrinoth for that...

Can be used in any Genesys setting where you want to have old school pirate ships.

Brilliant supplement, which is almost exactly what I was looking for in regards to my own fantasy setting. Thanks Chris! Do you know if anyone has made any Talents specifically focused on seafaring or swashbuckling adventures? That would be a huge added bonus to a product like this!

Hey Chris, great book as always. I did notice some obscure references on page 23, specifically regarding ship weapons. I was hoping maybe you could clarify?

The Ram has a crit rating of ( SP* ) however i don't see anywhere where it explains what that SP refers to, nor what the crit rating should be.

Also there is the following line on the same page : Grapeshot damage is 2 per cannon (though multiple crew targets), it is Personal Scale, only at Short range, and ignores soak.

Grapeshot isn't referenced anywhere else (save for some flavour text) Is the Swivel Cannon designed to be used with grapeshot?

I'm looking forward to more content from you in the future.

Yes the swivel cannon uses crapshoot though any of the other cannons can as well. SP means special...as it adds to the crit roll result. I'll add some clarification in a revision.

Great product as usual. Do you happen to have higher quality images of just the vehicle sheets?

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
