The perfect accessory to play DCC #68: The People of the Pit on a virtual tabletop! (Note that the adventure itself is not included in this product.)

This set of maps and tokens allows you to bring stunning visuals to your online session. All art is from hand-painted originals, scanned and formatted for online play. The look and feel of these tokens capture the spirit of DCC gaming and its Appendix N origins, yet is scaled and prepared for play online. 

  • Inside this map+token pack you will find:
  • Seven detailed maps, hand-painted in full color. Each map is offered in a gridded and grid-free format.
  • Eighteen full-color tokens of monsters and NPCs from the adventure. Each of these tokens is an original hand-painted image created just for this release.

This VTT map+token pack is designed to be played with Dungeon Crawl Classics #68: The People of the Pit. You can use the graphics herein without the adventure, but you’ll get the most out of them if you also own the adventure.

Format. All graphics are provided in PNG format.

PURCHASER
Just bought this, and I have to say that I'm disappointed. Some of the level 1 maps are missing. The ones that we do get are nice, but I was expecting all of the maps, not most of them.

I wouldn't recommend until the package is complete.

These are just screenshots of the art included in the PDF. If you already own the PDF and know how to take a screenshot, there is no value in this token/map pack.

Need to see some kind of sample before making a buying decision here. Sounds awesome though, I wish someone would do the same with the classic AD&D modules.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
