In a not too far future, the dualities of existence have been shattered. Human / machine. Transience / immortality. Real / virtual. Body / conscience. Self / many. Biological life / artificial life.

In BROKEN BINARY, you play the role of cyber-enhanced security agents freed from normal protocol restrictions, straddling the line between military and vigilantes within a futuristic metropolis.

Characters can be created in a matter of minutes, and the gameplay is fast and upfront, with a focus on the players' creativity when it comes to cybernetic implants and gear [which can be improvised in medias res, making for flexible and competent characters]. The game works best for episodic scenarios: think of your favorite crime series or sci-fi investigation anime.

.SYSTEM_ERROR:SETTING_NOT_FOUND

This is a minimalist product, focused on providing you with a portable cyberpunk rpg experience. You will not find detailed setting information [but you will find a list of key inspiration sources]. The game also expects you to have some familiarity with rules-light roleplaying games [one experienced person within the group will be more than enough, as the game engine can be picked up pretty quickly]. The game only requires six-sided dice [five of those will be more than enough].

/OPEN_DIRECTORY_CONTENTS:

 .The core rules fit on the front and back of a single A4 paper. Can be folded to form a depliant, as shown in the picture below!

 .Character sheets ("badges") are included in two versions: standard A4 printing and professional front-and-back printing.
