Realms of Terrinoth Genesys Character Sheet (Form Fill, Dice Calc)

Suggested Price $0.00

The Genesys Character sheet for the Realsm of Terrinoth setting, form fillable with dice pool calculations. Most graphics are vector, meaning it maintains image quality at high resolutions, keeping the quality high and the file size small. Only the Foundry logo and the dice pool images are raster.

Notes on use: Due to which events are available in PDF javascript, the dice pools will not update when a characteristic is changed, but rather after clicking off of that number and then clicking it again. Also, when printing, be sure not to print page 5 unless you really just like legal text. Pleas only use Adobe Acrobat to use this file. Other PDF clients have shown unpredictable behavior due to their PDF javascript support not being the same as Adobe's.

Realms of Terrinoth, Genesys Core Rulebook, and either Genesys Dice or the Genesys Dice App are required to use this product.

Some suggestions for improving the sheet: if I make entries on the first page of the cs it always adds a "+" in the lower right corner (this normally only happens when an entry exceeds the available field space if I am not mistaken). Plus, can you make it so that the text entered shrinks in size to fit the field space? A separate field to enter the Enc of items would be great, ideally with an auto-calc summary of total Enc. Thank you!

There's two different ways to set that. One is so that the font auto sizes to fill the space and that works well. The other is to set it Rich Text and let the user set the font size. They aren't compatible. I used Rich Text because that also allows the setting of the font so that Genesys symbols can be used. However, making use of Rich Text boxes isn't obvious. The easiest way is to have the text in another editor like Word, format it the way you want with size, bold, symbols, etc, and then copy/paste it into the PDF field.

I'm still not used to updating the files. I must have messed something up when I last made a change. Try it now.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
