Genesys Character Sheet (Form Fill, Dice Pools)

ADD TO WISHLIST >
Suggested Price $0.00

The generic Genesys Character sheet, form fillable with dice pool calculations. Most graphics are vector, meaning it maintains image quality at high resolutions, keeping the quality high and the file size small. Only the Foundry logo and the dice pool images are raster.

Now includes a version with editable skill names.

Notes on use: Due to which events are available in PDF javascript, the dice pools will not update when a characteristic is changed, but rather after clicking off of that number. Also, when printing, be sure not to print page 5 unless you really just like legal text. Please only use Adobe Acrobat to use this file. Other PDF clients have shown unpredictable behavior due to their PDF javascript support not being the same as Adobe's. Most of the text fields are set as Rich Text rather than auto font sizing. This lets you copy/paste pre-formated text from another editor such as Word to control exactly how it appears. Formatting this way includes font size, bolding, italics, color, font, etc. This gives you the ability to have Genesys symbols in the text if you have an appropriate Genesys font installed.

Genesys Core Rulebook and either Genesys Dice or the Genesys Dice App are required to use this product.

Do the dice pools have difficulty updating on certain operating Systems?
Currently using Android and One Drive.

No. As it says in the product description, only Adobe Acrobat reader is supported.

Absolutely fantastic for a "pay what you want" sheet. I love that it calculates the skill dice pools - great for new players and handy for veterans. I wish skill names were editable for custom games but it works great as-is for those by just ignoring the stuff that isn't relevant. The weapons section has lots of room for qualities - something a lot of other sheets don't leave much room for

The characteristics are already filled out along with wound and strain. I was looking for a blank one.

Its form fill. Just change them. If you are not looking for a form fill version you can get the official one from the FFG website.

How do you set it up to provide dice pools for custom skills? Just entering a new Knowledge skill does not automatically adjust its pool to the character's intelligence, and new custom skills seem unlinked to any characteristic.

Custom skills don't get dice pools. No room and too complicated to add in the necessary characteristic selector. If you are having trouble, make sure you have the latest version. I pushed out an update yesterday due to some found issues.

Good job! Is is possible to make dice pool contiguous instead of being separated by spaces between proficiency and ability dice, perhaps as image/object replacement instead of overlapping Y/G objects? Can skill names be editable? Also there seems to be is a typo in the top LEGAL paragraph, I think it should say "This page is included" instead of "This page is including"

Is there any way to change the weapons section so you can include the dice for those as well, please? (I realize it may be a little tricky since some weapons qualities also add dice, but it's exceptionally helpful for players who aren't familiar with the system.)

No, that will require a lot more work in giving options to select which skill should be used to generate the pool and that is more than I'm willing to do right now.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
